Carly
Originally from the Twin Cities suburbs with no farming background, I found a love for gardening while attending Northland College in northern WI and fell in love with the Chequamegon Bay community. I instantly found delight in harvesting and processing my own food and that love has grown to include raising livestock. Pigs are such fun animals to raise and I enjoy spending time watching and interacting with them. I’m very lucky to be able to be on-farm full-time while handling the kiddos and cooking incredibly tasty food from scratch - family favorites are homemade pizza and ravioli.
Tyler
Hi, I'm Tyler. I grew up in Coon Rapids, Minn. and never had any intention to farm or really any interest in what I was eating or putting into my body -- until I met Carly up at Northland College. I studied and received a degree in Music Education and taught for a few years after college, but it became quite clear that I needed to be outside and work with my hands. From there I started an electrician apprenticeship and am now a journeyman and lead the solar division at Jolma Electric. Between that, farming, and being with family, I can't imagine a better life.

G was born in 2014 and provides constant entertainment for us. She loves reading books, climbing trees, and watering down the pigs in the heat of summer. After a few summers doing farmers’ markets, she is also pretty awesome at selling our goods and understanding why we do what we do.
V
V joined our family in 2018. On the farm, V is our biggest helper and ready to jump in on most chores. She enjoys feeding the pigs snacks, marveling at any animal, wild or farmed, and jumping in mud puddles.
